The four-nozzle printer moves into a new U.S. launch phase, but Creality’s store still shows an early-December shipping estimate. Nozzle-switch time and total material-change time are listed separately.

Availability needs a closer look

Creality announced U.S. availability of its K3 on November 3, 2026, with a starting price of $849, saying the first preorders began shipping on November 2. The company expects European availability in December.

The official U.S. store nevertheless still labeled the K3 as a preorder when checked for this report on November 4, with an estimated shipping date of early December. These statements may refer to different order batches. They do not establish immediate dispatch for a newly placed order.

Nozzle changes, material changes and optional configurations

The K3 uses Creality’s KliTek four-nozzle system to keep separate filament paths ready for multicolor work. The store lists a 260 × 260 × 260 mm build volume.

It also distinguishes a five-second nozzle change from a 15-second material change. That distinction is useful: the mechanical switch between nozzles is not necessarily the entire interruption in a real print. Users evaluating productivity should compare complete jobs, including preparation, transition behavior and finishing.

Creality’s release reports internal-test reductions of up to 80% in print time and 85% in waste against conventional single-nozzle multicolor workflows. These are manufacturer claims with model- and material-dependent outcomes, rather than independent benchmarks.

The launch release says mixed-nozzle and advanced multimaterial capabilities require accessories sold separately. Its optional top cover extends the listed material range, while a dedicated TPU Kit supports additional flexible and soluble materials.

For a maker, the practical decision is therefore about the complete configuration. The base price does not establish the total cost of every demonstrated application. Material compatibility, accessory availability and the shipping estimate for the selected order should be checked together.
