Shenzhen's 3D printer output rose 57.9% in the first eight months of the year, leading the high-tech sector.

This isn't a fluke—Bambu Lab, Creality, Anycubic, Elegoo, and Snapmaker together hold more than 90% of the global consumer 3D printing market, making Shenzhen the industry's "global factory."
The supply chain is the foundation. For the four leading companies, 80% of core components can be delivered locally within a "2-hour supply chain circle," compressing the design-to-production cycle to the extreme. Companies are doubling down: Bambu Lab's Guangming base is planned for an annual capacity of over 3 million units, potentially one of the world's largest 3D printing manufacturing centers; Creality listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in May as the "first consumer 3D printing stock," opening 80% higher on its first day and raising about US$1.77 billion (HK$13.8 billion).
More importantly, the industry is shifting from contract manufacturing to "brand + ecosystem." Bambu Lab's MakerWorld community hosts over 3 million models, and its offline stores have reached more than 90 cities across China; Creality's sales network covers 140 countries and regions. On the policy side, Shenzhen's "20+8" industry cluster plan lists laser and additive manufacturing as a key direction.
With 57.9% growth meeting a 90% global share, Shenzhen's 3D printing industry is moving from scale leadership to system leadership.
