Professor Zhang Jingqi has long been dedicated to research in metal 3D printing (including titanium alloys, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and refractory alloys, etc.), focusing primarily on "controlling microstructural heterogeneity and enhancing strength-toughness in laser additive manufactured metallic materials." In the past five years, his related research work has been published as first author (including co-first author) in prestigious international journals such as Science and Nature Communications (two articles). He has received honors and awards including the 2021 Acta Student Award and the inaugural 2024 International APM "Rising Star in Powder Materials" Outstanding Young Scholar Award.

Admission Requirements:

Ethical Qualities: Strong interest in scientific research, adherence to academic ethics, good physical and mental health, diligent work ethic, and team spirit.

Research Background: Must have a background in either metal additive manufacturing (3D printing) or titanium alloy research. Applicants with experience in laser additive manufacturing of titanium alloys and high-level SCI publications will be given priority consideration.

Professional Skills: Proficiency in skills such as metal material preparation, design, characterization (SEM/EBSD/TEM, etc.), 3D printing, thermodynamic/kinetic calculations, or multi-physics field simulation.
