TCT Sets 2027 Dates for Shanghai and Shenzhen Additive Manufacturing Shows

TCT Asia will move to five halls in Shanghai on May 27–29, while TCT Shenzhen will return to Futian on August 12–14 with a focus on South China’s manufacturing industries.

TCT has announced its 2027 exhibition calendar in China. TCT Asia will take place May 27–29 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, occupying halls N1 through N5. TCT Shenzhen will follow August 12–14 in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian.

Shanghai expands its exhibition space

The Shanghai show will cover equipment, materials, software, scanning and inspection, post-processing, and applications. The organizer projects 63,000 square meters of exhibition space, more than 750 exhibitors and more than 55,000 professional visitors. Those figures are forecasts for the 2027 show.

The five-hall format gives manufacturers more room to demonstrate how printers, materials and downstream equipment fit into a production workflow. For buyers comparing suppliers, the May show also offers a chance to see new products across several parts of the additive manufacturing supply chain in one visit.

Shenzhen focuses on regional manufacturing

The Shenzhen event will focus on demand from South China and the Greater Bay Area, with applications in consumer electronics, moldmaking, jewelry and dentistry. These sectors use additive manufacturing at different points in production, from prototyping electronics housings to making jewelry patterns and dental models.

TCT reported 34,347 unique visitors at its 2026 Shenzhen show, an 85% increase year over year. That total included 3,404 visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas, up 112%. The organizer also reported more than 300 exhibitors and brands and 32 organized buyer delegations.

For suppliers planning their 2027 calendars, Shanghai provides a venue for launches and meetings with buyers across the industry. Shenzhen offers a chance to meet regional manufacturers and discuss specific production needs.
