COBRA Launches Full Series of 3D-Printed Irons: "Black Tech" Accessible to All Skill Levels

A milestone moment has arrived in the world of golf equipment! COBRA Golf has officially unveiled two new iron models, the 3DP MB and 3DP X. Together with the previously released 3DP TOUR, they form the industry's first complete product line of 3D-printed irons. This means that whether you are a tour pro or an amateur enthusiast, you can now personally experience the performance revolution that 3D printing technology brings to the game of golf.

Two New Models, Targeting Different Golfers

3DP MB: Hailed as the "most forgiving blade iron on the market today." It retains the classic blade shape designed for professional players but conceals ingenious technology inside. Through a 3D-printed internal lattice structure, it fine-tunes feel and utilizes precise tungsten weighting to achieve a high Moment of Inertia (MOI) and low center of gravity. It suits advanced players seeking feel and control.
3DP X: Specifically crafted for amateurs with handicaps between 10 and 20, aiming to provide "super game-improvement" performance and a high launch angle. It features a seamless, monobloc 3D-printed construction with no joints. The internal lattice works in tandem with external tungsten weights to significantly enhance stability and forgiveness on off-center hits.

Core "Black Tech": More Than Just "Printed"

The performance of these irons surpasses traditional manufacturing not just in shape, but through key technologies:
Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS): Uses 316L stainless steel powder for monolithic printing, resulting in a stronger structure.
Internal Lattice Design: Precisely controls weight distribution and optimizes feedback and feel at impact.
Intelligent Weighting: Tungsten inserts are placed in critical areas of the clubhead, markedly increasing MOI, allowing even off-center hits to travel straighter and farther.

Why is This a "Game Changer"?

COBRA executives stated that this makes them the first OEM to offer a full series of 3D-printed irons whose performance comprehensively surpasses traditionally manufactured counterparts. 3D printing frees designers to create complex internal structures previously impossible to cast, thereby merging the often-conflicting characteristics of "forgiveness" and "feel" into a single club.

Availability

Both iron models began pre-sales on January 6, 2026, with official retail launch on January 9, 2026. The suggested retail price for a six-piece set is $1,980, and wedges are available through custom order.
The era of "customization" and "high technology" in golf equipment is now truly within reach.
