Atomic Reshaping, a desktop 3D printer manufacturer founded earlier this year, has secured a new round of funding from Legend Capital and Cornerstone Capital. This marks the company's second funding round in 2025, following a tens of millions of yuan angel round from Venture Capital in April.

According to reports, Atomic Reshaping was established in January 2025, with its products primarily targeting the consumer-grade (C-end) market. The company is committed to leveraging AI technology to overcome the "last mile" challenges in 3D printing, providing users with simpler and more efficient solutions. Its self-developed intelligent 3D printing system deeply integrates AI algorithms, tackling key technologies such as model recognition and path planning. This reduces the user's operational barriers and achieves the convenience of "one-click printing."

Recently, the Palette 300—a 12-nozzle intelligent multi-color FDM printer developed by Atomic Reshaping—was featured by Polar Bear 3D. Its multi-color desktop 3D printing solution with nozzle-changing capability has attracted widespread attention. Currently, their 3D printers are not yet officially available for sale.

Boasting 12 automatically switching nozzles and speeds of up to 800mm/s, this 3D printer integrates an intelligent 12-nozzle switching system that enables fully automated multi-color/multi-material printing. The optimized extrusion structure design increases printing speed to 800mm/s while reducing material waste by 90%.

The Palette 300 features a unique OmniElement automatic nozzle-switching function, allowing up to 36 colors or 12 materials in a single print job. This system accelerates material switching by 50%, delivering a faster multi-color/multi-material printing experience. Combined with intelligent extrusion control, it reduces material waste by 90%, significantly lowering printing costs.

The ReadyPrint™ dual-channel feeding system enables multi-material composite printing through automatic nozzle switching and an intelligent pre-loading mechanism. This dual-system significantly optimizes the filament travel path. It allows fresh filament, automatically prepared during each material change, to be fed directly into the nozzle. This shortens the travel distance dramatically and accelerates the switching process.

The system supports the connection of up to 6 material management systems, enabling prints with up to 36 colors.

Leveraging an advanced modular design, the Palette 300 is capable of printing complex parts composed of multiple materials in a single job. Its innovative RFD-6 Material Management System can be daisy-chained with up to 6 units, achieving seamless switching between 36 colors and delivering an industrial-grade, multi-color, high-precision printing experience.

According to official specifications, the device demonstrated the following advantages in performance tests:

● Material Compatibility: Supports 7 types of engineering materials, including PAHT (High-Temp Nylon), TPU (Flexible Material), PA (Nylon), PETG, PLA, PC, and ABS, meeting requirements for everything from flexible parts to structural components.

● Breakthrough Efficiency: When printing with PAHT material, it completed a task that takes other devices 27 hours and 44 minutes in just 6 hours and 55 minutes, increasing efficiency by nearly 4 times.

● Optimized Color Printing: For a 7-color print using PLA material, it finished a task that typically takes 1 hour and 21 minutes in just 51 minutes, achieving a 1.6x speed increase.

Utilizing an ultra-precise positioning system and advanced visual algorithms, the Palette 300 automatically calibrates nozzle position, ensuring an offset of less than 20 microns during each switch. This results in superior print quality and enhanced surface finish.

The Palette 300 features a build volume of 300x300x300mm, specifically designed for larger high-performance materials. Its thermal management system includes an active chamber heated up to 65°C and a hot end reaching 350°C, which significantly reduces warping and ensures strong adhesion and precision. Furthermore, the hardened extruder and nozzle provide exceptional durability and wear resistance, enabling stable, long-term printing with high-performance fiber-reinforced materials.

Furthermore, equipped with 50 sensors and 4 cameras, the Palette 300 ensures the final print accurately matches the design intent. An integrated barcode recognition camera automatically identifies different filament spools, while a dedicated printhead camera intelligently monitors material accumulation, filament deviation, and any extrusion failures. Additionally, a chamber camera, tasked with inspecting waste material, conducts a thorough check before each print to guarantee perfect results every time.
With the participation of Legend Capital and Cornerstone Capital, Atomic Reshaping is poised to accelerate its technology development and product iteration, further expanding its market presence. This new funding round will empower the company to sustain innovation in the field of AI-enhanced 3D printing, driving the advancement of the consumer-grade 3D printing market.
