Shanghai Yunzhu 3D Technology Co., Ltd., a metal 3D printing service provider, recently completed a new round of funding from investors including Shanghai Purong Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) and Chengdu Konggang No.1 Enterprise Management Center (Limited Partnership). According to research by Nanjixiong, Shanghai Purong Venture Capital also has backing from state-owned entities in Chengdu. Additionally, in January of this year, Yunzhu 3D secured investment from the Guizhou Innovation Empowerment Big Data Investment Fund, marking two funding rounds completed within the year.
Yunzhu 3D is a national high-tech enterprise and a Shanghai-certified "Specialized, Refined, and Innovative" company focused on additive manufacturing application services. Headquartered in the Shanghai Lingang Special Area, the company leverages additive manufacturing technologies to provide specialized products and services for equipment manufacturing sectors such as aerospace.

With proven technical expertise and operational capabilities, Yunzhu has established long-term partnerships with numerous renowned enterprises and institutions, including China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Yunzhu 3D established its wholly-owned subsidiary Yunzhu (Guizhou) 3D Technology Co., Ltd. in Guizhou in December last year, followed by the registration of another subsidiary, Yunzhu 3D (Sichuan) Technology Co., Ltd., in Chengdu this March.

On the business front, the company primarily serves aerospace clients by providing end-to-end additive manufacturing solutions—including design optimization, product manufacturing, and testing—for structural components such as spacecraft propulsion systems and satellites. To date, Yunzhu 3D has undertaken development tasks for multiple types of aircraft structural components, some of which have already been deployed in space applications.

Beyond the direct rapid manufacturing of high-performance metal components for aerospace applications, 3D printing technology—when integrated with traditional processing and post-treatment methods—can also rapidly produce detailed models for display or testing purposes in the aerospace sector. Such models are commonly used for exhibitions, showroom displays, presentation demonstrations, educational purposes, and gift models.
