In his address, Yu Guoyi stated that additive manufacturing technology is evolving rapidly, with its application scenarios continuously expanding in high-end equipment, aerospace, biomedicine, and other fields. Additive manufacturing is now facing unprecedented development opportunities. Xiong’an New Area offers the most inclusive innovation environment, the most favorable policy support, and the broadest application scenarios, serving as both a "testing ground" for the additive manufacturing industry and a "transformation hub" for innovative achievements. He expressed the hope that this event would serve as a bond to jointly tackle technological barriers, improve standard systems, and expand the industrial scale, all while contributing to the national agenda from the foundation laid in Xiong’an.

In her address, Hao Lixiao pointed out that the Hebei Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government attach great importance to the development of the additive manufacturing industry. Efforts have been made across the entire chain—covering advanced equipment, specialized materials, key technologies, and application scenarios—to attract and cultivate high-quality enterprises in additive manufacturing. This has led to the establishment of a number of leading companies, such as Yuding Additive Manufacturing, Jingye Additive Manufacturing, and AVIC Maite. Additionally, several high-level innovation platforms have been set up, including the National Engineering Laboratory for Large-Scale Metal Component Additive Manufacturing, the Additive Manufacturing Technology Research and Application Center of China North Industries Group Corporation, and the Hebei Provincial Additive Manufacturing Industrial Technology Research Institute. Active steps are also being taken to develop typical application scenarios for additive manufacturing in fields such as new energy vehicles, aerospace, and nuclear power equipment.
Hao Lixiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director (First-Level Inspector) of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province.
In his address, Lu Ruiyang stated that as the "15th Five-Year Plan" period is about to commence, the additive manufacturing industry boasts broad prospects for development. In the next phase, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. By addressing major national strategic needs and focusing on the main battlefield of the national economy, the ministry will coordinate efforts to advance technological innovation and application promotion, continuously improve the industrial ecosystem, accelerate the high-quality development of the additive manufacturing industry, and provide robust support for advancing new industrialization and building a strong manufacturing nation.
Lu Ruiyang, First-Class Researcher of the Intelligent Manufacturing Division, Department of Equipment Industry I, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
In his speech, Su Bo emphasized that additive manufacturing, as a new technology and model in the development of the manufacturing industry, represents a new format for cultivating new quality productive forces. As the "15th Five-Year Plan" period is about to commence, China will embark on the second decade of its journey to become a manufacturing powerhouse. In this context, additive manufacturing, as a pioneering force driving high-quality development in the manufacturing sector and constructing a modern industrial system, is poised to embrace new opportunities for rapid growth and inject fresh momentum into the advancement of manufacturing. To this end, efforts should focus on achieving high-level self-reliance and self-improvement, tackling critical core technological challenges, promoting large-scale and cross-domain applications, refining the industrial support system, and deepening technological integration as well as international exchanges and cooperation.
Su Bo, Deputy Director of the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee, former Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Advisor to the China Additive Manufacturing Industry Alliance.
During the keynote speech session, Academician Wang Huaming stated that additive manufacturing, by layering materials to create three-dimensional complex structures, possesses transformative advantages in altering structures, materials, and manufacturing processes. Traditional melting, casting, forging, and pressing technologies are constrained by their principles and have nearly reached their limits in terms of component performance and size. In contrast, additive manufacturing enables the integrated fabrication of large-scale critical metal components, offering advantages such as high performance, high efficiency, and low cost.
