Resin 3D Printing Double Launch! Creality Rolls Out Two New Machines

On September 10, Creality’s HALOT-X1 Max and HALOT-X1 Neo officially went on sale.

One is built for professional production, while the other focuses on easy creation, adding two more pieces to Creality’s resin 3D printing lineup.

The HALOT-X1 Max is positioned as a “flagship desktop smart factory.” It features an industrial-grade four-lead-screw, four-linear-rail motion system, a 40°C temperature-controlled chamber, 16K resolution, a 5L automatic resin feeding system, and an AI vision camera. Its build volume is 302.4 × 161.98 × 350 mm, with a maximum print speed of 80 mm/h. It is designed for one-piece large-part printing and continuous batch production. In tests, it can print 60 miniature models measuring 31 mm tall in a single batch in about four hours, for a maximum daily output of 360 pieces. GK (garage kit) figures can be printed in one piece up to 340 mm tall, cutting post-processing labor by more than 60%. An EU size 42 shoe can also be printed in one piece, making the machine suitable for small-batch development without molds.

The HALOT-X1 Neo lowers the barrier to entry. It has a 9K printing screen with an 18 × 18 μm XY pixel size, and supports USB drives, Wi-Fi, Creality Cloud, and mainstream slicing software. AI is also integrated into the workflow: through Hyper3D, users can turn photos into 3D models, then slice, transfer, print, and post-process them. An AI camera and an integrated resin mixing and heating module open up more ways to use the machine. It can handle miniature models, dioramas, tabletop wargaming pieces, and small test prints.

Since the start of this year, Creality has also moved into professional fields such as dental applications and explored end-use applications in footwear. With its lineup spanning FDM, 3D scanning, laser engraving, and materials, resin 3D printing is moving from personal creation to professional production and into more real-world scenarios.
