3DMakerpro has recently unveiled its new portable LiDAR scanner, the Raven, designed specifically for capturing large-scale environments.

The limited-time early bird offer starts at €999, targeting professionals who require real-scene point cloud data for applications such as digital modeling, surveying tasks, or 3D printing workflows.
The Raven generates colored point clouds and supports export in PLY point cloud format, Gaussian Splatting data, or OBJ polygon models. It is equipped with a 12-megapixel camera for texture capture. In addition to the standard version, a dual-camera Raven Max model is available, along with optional RTK expansion kits and accessories compatible with Insta360 cameras.
In terms of accuracy, the device achieves a margin of error of just 2 cm at 10 meters, with a maximum scanning range of 100 meters. The Raven generates 150,000 measurement points per second, scanning 360 degrees horizontally and 40 degrees vertically. Its laser classification meets Class 1 safety standards. The device features a 3.9-inch AMOLED touchscreen and is powered by a 12,000 mAh battery, providing approximately 2 hours of operation. Data can be transferred via USB-C or Wi-Fi. The accompanying RayStudio software supports point cloud processing and enhanced visualization, though the Gaussian Splatting workflow requires an RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB VRAM and 32GB of RAM. macOS is currently not supported.
Regular pricing is set at $1,699 for the Raven and $2,699 for the Raven Max.
