Both companies stated that the collaboration aims to help businesses move beyond pilot project stages into sustainable production, building a resilient, compliant, and globally deployable supply chain.

B9Creations and Würth Additive Group recently announced a partnership to deeply integrate 3D printing systems with digital inventory services, aiming to gradually replace physical inventory with digitally managed component data and enable on-demand production of spare parts across distributed networks.
A long-standing challenge in industrial 3D printing has been producing consistent quality parts across different locations. B9Creations has addressed this by establishing a multi-stage quality control system that spans from equipment commissioning to ongoing operation. This includes fingerprinting of individual printers, defined machine benchmarks, firmware checks, factory and site acceptance testing, and operational and performance qualification—ensuring all equipment operates under standardized parameters.
Würth contributes its global logistics infrastructure and digital warehousing capabilities to transform digital files into validated physical parts. This model is particularly well-suited for manufacturers with internationally distributed service networks, as it improves spare parts availability, reduces warehousing costs and the risk of parts obsolescence, while enabling shorter transportation distances and more localized production.
