Custom Bentley Batur Convertible integrates 3D printed platinum

Bentley has reached another milestone in additive manufacturing! The newly launched Batur Convertible features 3D-printed platinum components for the first time, pushing bespoke luxury to unprecedented heights.
Dubbed the "most meticulously crafted to date," this Batur Convertible continues the series' tradition of extreme customization. Limited to just 16 units globally, the recently revealed Car #4 was co-created by Bentley and its customer, Sonia Breslow, and will join her impressive collection.
The most striking features are the multiple 3D-printed platinum components:
• Central emblem on the steering wheel
• Organ stop vent controls

Other bespoke details are equally impressive:
• Exclusive tri-tone color scheme
• Polished titanium exhaust finishers
• Welcome lamp that projects the owner's handwritten name (containing 415,800 micromirrors)

Under the hood lies a hand-assembled 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbocharged engine producing 740 horsepower.
"This car will stay with me for a lifetime," Breslow stated. "I am obsessed with every design detail, from the colors to every feature, ensuring it stands apart from everything else."
This launch embodies Bentley's 25 years of experience in additive manufacturing:
• 2022: The first Batur incorporated 210 grams of 3D-printed gold.
• 2025: The Black Rose edition featured 3D-printed rose gold components.
• 2026: This latest innovation introduces platinum.

All precious metal 3D printing was completed in collaboration with the specialist manufacturer Cooksongold.
From gold to rose gold and now platinum, Bentley continues to explore the possibilities of 3D printing in high-end customization, transforming each car into a unique work of art.
