EOS announced a collaboration with Brazilian aerospace startup BIZU Space on October 29, 2026, focused on strengthening additive manufacturing capabilities for future space propulsion systems. The partnership includes Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) education through the Additive Minds Academy and engineering support from EOS Additive Minds specialists.

According to the announcement, BIZU Space is exploring industrial metal 3D printing for complex propulsion components, including combustion chambers and closed-cycle turbopumps. It is also involved in propulsion development for a Brazilian orbital launch vehicle program. These are research and development directions; the announcement does not establish that the printed components have completed flight qualification.

The collaboration connects design skills with an active propulsion program rather than simply announcing an equipment purchase. Training is intended to help engineers understand additive manufacturing's opportunities and constraints during design. The announcement does not disclose a contract value or a schedule for volume deliveries.
