Siraya Tech’s New Roamr TPU Moves 3D Printed Footwear from Prototype to Performance

For a long time, 3D-printed footwear has hovered between "conceptual prototypes" and "avant-garde art," struggling to become truly comfortable and durable for everyday wear. Now, this balance has been struck. The newly launched Roamr TPU Air HR (High Rebound) series from Siraya Tech is bringing 3D-printed footwear from the display stage into reality. By fusing active foaming technology with a proprietary high-rebound formula, it delivers three key breakthroughs:
Extreme Lightness: By adjusting the printing temperature, it can achieve up to 57% weight reduction, creating air-infused-like structures that significantly reduce foot fatigue.
High-Energy Rebound: With a 48-50% energy rebound rate, it bids farewell to the "mushy feel" of ordinary foaming materials, providing genuine dynamic energy feedback and a propulsive sensation.
Gradient Control: Simply by adjusting the printing temperature, a single printed part can achieve a Shore hardness gradient from 64A to 85A, allowing for easy design of integrated soles with a "firm forefoot with a soft heel."
The series offers two choices to precisely meet different needs:
Roamr 85A: Focuses on structure and durability. Suitable for outsoles and wear-resistant components, it provides stable support and high printing success rates.
Roamr 80A: Focuses on cushioning and tactile feel. Featuring a unique fabric-like texture, it is the ideal choice for insoles, liners, and midsoles in lifestyle footwear.
