Phasio, powered by Dyndrite MJF Pro, automates quoting, order management, and production preparation

Additive manufacturing quoting, order management, and workflow planning software platform Phasio has announced a partnership with digital production computational geometry and automation developer Dyndrite. Together, they are launching the industry's first fully digital HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) workflow solution. This collaboration deeply integrates Phasio's customer-facing order system with Dyndrite's MJF Pro build preparation tool, enabling orders to move directly from customer requirements to a verified and traceable print build without manual intervention.
The Phasio Powered by Dyndrite MJF Pro solution combines order management with programmable build preparation. After an order is placed, the system automatically processes the request, optimizes part placement, generates the build model, and distributes it to available HP Multi Jet Fusion printers. Customers and manufacturers can track jobs in real-time, achieving a closed loop from purchase order to finished part.
Bringing End-to-End Automation to HP MJF

Harry Lucas, Founder and CEO of Phasio, stated: "Phasio's mission has always been to eliminate the barriers between the front office and manufacturing. By integrating Dyndrite MJF Pro into our platform, we are connecting one of the most advanced additive production systems, HP MJF, and turning our vision into reality."

Dyndrite MJF Pro, core to this integration, supports HP polymer and metal printers, including the 4200, 5200, 5400, 5600, and 580 series. This software can efficiently nest thousands of parts in seconds, handle massive 3D meshes and native CAD files, and automatically apply multiple part labels based on advanced rules. Each build file can embed detailed documentation, and the Python API supports automating repetitive tasks, significantly reducing the risk of human error.

Frank Lussier, Product Manager at Dyndrite, said: "From multinational corporations to fast-growing startups, HP Multi Jet Fusion users want to focus on product innovation and accelerate time to market. They need automation, rapid iteration, traceable data, and a simple, efficient management system. With Phasio powered by Dyndrite, they finally have a fully digital end-to-end process for MJF. This is a significant industry milestone."

According to the "2023 Additive Manufacturing Software Market Opportunities" report, the 3D printing software sector will grow from $1.2 billion in 2022 to $6.2 billion in 2031

Seamless Connection from Design to Manufacturing

This innovative integrated solution supports exporting camspecs containing CAD files and build constraints, enabling one-click transfer to the Dyndrite high-performance nesting engine. Orientation data is preserved, ensuring consistent part properties across different build batches. A 3MF scanner automatically checks file integrity, overflow protection prevents errors from unnested parts, build generation is fully automated, and label management is handled within the Phasio platform.

By enforcing part orientation, it effectively addresses repeatability issues, ensuring consistent part properties and surface quality for long-term orders; post-processing needs such as dyeing are also integrated. Automatic splitting and error-proof routing ensure subsequent processing of mixed builds is accurate. Traceability is embedded within the workflow, with each job featuring part marking and serialization, and automated audit logs facilitate quality reviews.

The two companies emphasize that the new system optimizes packing density to increase capacity, eliminates shop floor errors caused by manual handoffs, and significantly reduces scrap rates. Manufacturers can deliver repeatable quality for every part, for every customer.
