The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced a partnership with (add)liance to bring European powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing networks closer together. EPMA published the announcement on October 23.

The association describes the collaboration as a way to connect manufacturing technologies, industrial value chains and AM communities across Europe. EPMA President David Adrover Iglesias said the effort is intended to help accelerate industrial adoption and strengthen the region’s competitiveness. These are the partnership’s stated objectives, rather than reported results from completed industrial projects.

Founded in 2025, (add)liance describes itself as a European additive manufacturing think tank that brings together national and sector-focused hubs. Its existing priorities include coordinating networks, sharing market intelligence and addressing common industrial and technical challenges. The EPMA announcement therefore concerns a new partnership with an existing organization.

The brief announcement does not set out financial terms, a project timetable or specific joint manufacturing facilities. It also does not announce a new printer, material or production qualification.
