What the Siemens integration could change for buyers

Xometry's May partnership with Siemens aims to bring manufacturability feedback, pricing and sourcing into the Siemens software that engineers use to design parts. The announcement named Designcenter as one integration and described a separate plan to connect Xometry's Thomas sourcing network with Siemens' Supplyframe. Siemens agreed to buy about $50 million in Xometry shares as part of the partnership. Xometry and Siemens partnership announcement, May 7, 2026

For buyers of 3D-printed parts, earlier access to cost and manufacturability information could make it easier to compare additive manufacturing with machining or molding while the design is still being revised.

What the quarter says about 3D printing

Xometry reports marketplace and services revenue. Its earnings release does not break out additive manufacturing revenue, so the reported growth measures the wider business.
