Xi'an Zhenhong Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xifa Company under the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), has completed a 350 million yuan equity financing round to accelerate the industrialization of its additive manufacturing business. Currently, Zhenhong Aerospace has deployed over 100 metal 3D printers, with plans to expand this number to 300 in the future. At the end of August, Hongzhen Aerospace initiated a procurement tender with a total value of 1.7 billion yuan.

Some lots of the tender have already been awarded, with companies including Bright Laser Technologies (BLT), AVIC Matt, Eplus3D, and Quantum Matrix winning portions of the equipment contracts. The total announced contract value so far exceeds 68 million yuan.

The detailed award results are as follows:

Xi'an Quantum Matrix Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 2 large-format laser selective melting forming equipment, with a contract value of 12.698 million yuan.

Xi'an Quantum Matrix Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 2 high-performance large-format laser selective melting forming equipment, with a contract value of 12.684 million yuan.

Xi'an Quantum Matrix Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is the primary winning candidate for the contract for large-size, high-efficiency laser selective melting forming equipment.

AVIC Matt Additive Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 1 large-format lattice additive manufacturing forming equipment, with a contract value of 5.15 million yuan.

Xi'an Bright Laser Technologies Additive Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 2 thin-wall, large-size rotary component additive manufacturing systems, with a contract value of 12.614 million yuan.

Xi'an Bright Laser Technologies Additive Technology Co., Ltd. is the primary winning candidate for the contract for pipe and duct component additive manufacturing forming equipment.

Beijing Eplus3D Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 2 special-shaped cabin segment additive manufacturing integrated forming systems, with a contract value of 15.42 million yuan.

Shandong Xinyue Machinery Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 1 specialized machine for machining internal and external profiles of thin-wall milling groove components, with a contract value of 2.785 million yuan.

Shanghai Topu Numerical Control Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 1 numerical control spiral groove milling machine, with a contract value of 3.35 million yuan.

Chengdu Kailiya Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. was awarded a contract for 1 five-axis machining center, with a contract value of 3.84 million yuan.

It is reported that after a decade of sustained effort, Xifa Company has developed strong capabilities in both the supply of additive manufacturing products for aerospace liquid propulsion and production capacity for external market business. Xifa consolidated its additive manufacturing resources to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary—Xi'an Hongzhen Aerospace Additive Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. In its first year of independent operation, Hongzhen Aerospace achieved revenue of 140 million yuan and a total profit of 20 million yuan, delivering over ten thousand products annually.

Xifa Company has built a professional additive manufacturing team led by CASC's Chief Process Experts, integrating design, R&D, production testing, and market development. It has established industrial production capacity supported by hundreds of additive manufacturing and post-processing units, ranking first in production capacity within relevant domestic fields. The company has comprehensively mastered mainstream metal additive manufacturing technologies including laser/electron beam selective melting forming, laser melting deposition forming, and wire arc additive manufacturing. It has made breakthroughs in multiple key technologies such as lightweight additive manufacturing design, microfine structure laser selective melting forming, and high-performance laser melting repair. Xifa has also mastered the fundamental forming processes for various material grades, essentially covering the materials commonly used in liquid rocket engines. It has established a comprehensive technical and standard system for the entire additive manufacturing chain in aerospace liquid propulsion—encompassing design, forming, post-processing, and inspection/evaluation. This has enabled the evolution of engine component manufacturing from "replacing traditional processes" to "integrated lightweight design," "structure-function integration," and "holistic forming of functional assemblies." These advancements have cleared key hurdles for the batch production and industrialization of additive manufacturing engineering applications, driving the evolution, upgrade, batch production, and self-sufficiency of aerospace liquid propulsion products. The company has subsequently received 18 provincial/ministerial-level or higher technical achievements, taken the lead in formulating 15 national and industry standards, and filed over 80 patents.
