AI 3D Model Specialist Hi3D: New Version V3.0 of the AI 3D Model Generator — Now Free to Try for Two Days

Hi3D has launched Version 3.0 of its AI image-to-3D generator, boosting voxel resolution to 2048³, texture quality to 8K, and adding print-ready tools like auto-splitting and auto-plating, with a two-day free trial and 70% off annual subscriptions running August 19–20, 2026.

AI 3D model specialist Hi3D has upgraded its AI-powered 3D model generation system to Version 3.0. It is the first commercially available AI 3D model with a voxel resolution of 2048³ — a 2.37x increase over the previous standard of 1536³.

Model quality depends on how much detail is preserved from initial design to finished part. Hi3D attributes the V3.0 improvements to three key areas: higher voxel resolution, enhanced structure recognition, and greater texture resolution.

The higher resolution preserves details that would otherwise blur or merge at lower resolutions — including layered feathers and scales, lettering, logo edges, and mechanical transitions. The system also renders thin walls and free-standing overhangs more stably. In addition, Hi3D V3.0 improves the detection of occluded and overlapping structures from multiple viewing angles, ensuring geometries remain plausible from the rear or side as well.

At the same time, maximum texture resolution rises to 8K. A proprietary algorithm for UV completion ensures cleaner edge transitions in patterns and more uniform color gradients, even under heavy magnification.

For 3D printing, several new tools are relevant in Hi3D V3.0: one function automatically splits models for printing ("Split for 3D Printing"), another prepares files for multicolor printing ("Multicolor 3D Printing"), and a third automatically arranges parts on the build plate ("Auto-Plating"). Together, they shorten the path from AI generation to a print-ready model.

It follows Version 1.0, the first commercial image-to-3D solution with 1536³ voxel resolution, and Version 2.0, which added unified geometry and texture generation as well as intelligent reconstruction of occluded structures.

To mark the launch of V3.0, Hi3D is offering free access from August 19 to 20, 2026. The period runs from 00:00 UTC on August 19 to 24:00 UTC on August 20, accessible via the Hi3D platform. During the same window, annual subscriptions are available at a 70% discount.
