Moonshot AI has introduced 3D Make on the Kimi website and mobile app, adding online preview, editing and downloads intended for 3D printing, according to the Chinese developer’s K3.1 Pro technical announcement.

The company says its new model can turn a text brief, sketch or reference image into a three-dimensional asset. It also describes a parametric modeling workflow in which the model writes and runs Blender or CAD scripts to build and refine parts, components and scenes.

These capabilities connect AI-assisted design with a manufacturing workflow, but the announcement does not specify download formats in its text or report physical print qualification. Geometry, scale, material suitability and slicing still need to be checked before fabrication.

Kimi’s official Code changelog dates the K3.1 Pro rollout to October 23. The company’s technical blog says full model weights are scheduled for release by November 4, 2026. Current access through its applications and API precedes that planned weight release.

The company also reports improved performance on a CAD reconstruction benchmark. That measures reconstruction from rendered views through generated CAD code; it does not establish a physical printing success rate.
