ELEGOO plans to unveil the M1 Ultra on October 29, extending the Shenzhen printer maker’s product range into standalone 3D scanning. The company confirmed the date in an October 22 release, with pricing and additional specifications reserved for launch day.

According to ELEGOO, the scanner combines blue-laser and infrared structured-light modes. It also lists marker-free scanning, an integrated touchscreen, wireless operation and a replaceable battery. These are manufacturer descriptions; independent performance results were not provided in the announcement.

The accompanying ELEGOO SCAN software is intended to guide setup, help maintain tracking and automate data processing. The proposed workflow connects captured physical geometry with digital modeling and subsequent printing, including uses in reverse engineering and archiving.

The company scheduled European previews at Maker Faire Rome, October 23–25, and SPIEL Essen, October 22–25. Those demonstrations precede the announced commercial reveal; the release does not establish a shipping timetable.
