Celebrating its 12th anniversary, Revopoint has launched two new 3D scanners: the industrial-grade MetroY Ultra and the all-purpose POP 4.

The MetroY Ultra is built for quality inspection and reverse engineering. It delivers volumetric accuracy of 0.015 mm + 0.04 × L (m) and captures up to 90 frames per second using multi-line laser scanning. It supports five scanning modes (cross-line, parallel-line, deep hole, blue light structured light, and auto-turntable) and can scan wirelessly under 100,000 lux of outdoor strong light (powered by a 5,500 mAh battery handle that lasts 2.5 hours). The CMM edition includes a carbon fiber standard ball plate for on-site accuracy verification and comes bundled with PTB-certified Revo Measure software (which supports GD&T analysis). The standard edition has a suggested retail price of $1,899 USD, while the CMM edition is priced at $2,499 USD. Pre-orders receive a 10% discount plus an additional 2% off with a promo code.
The POP 4 is a hybrid scanner that combines blue laser and infrared structured light. It achieves single-frame accuracy of 0.03 mm and a maximum capture speed of 105 fps. It also supports wireless scanning under 100,000 lux of outdoor light with a 4-hour battery life. A newly added 3D Gaussian Splatting technology allows users to export highly realistic models. Its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign begins on May 7, with early bird savings of up to 37%.
Both scanners work with the Revo Scan, Metro, Measure, and Design software suites to create a complete workflow from scanning to generating GD&T reports. During the 12th-anniversary celebration, scanners on the official website are offered at up to 15% off.
