restor3d has launched the MyFit digital suite. Patients receiving custom 3D-printed orthopedic implants can finally follow their care visually from start to finish, and partner surgeons can activate the tool for free.

Patients undergoing hip or knee replacement receive text updates through MyFit Connect, with automatic progress updates from registration and design to manufacturing and pre-op readiness. Shoulder and ankle patients get a dedicated portal: after entering basic information, they can check progress and view an interactive 3D model of their implant online, so they can understand their surgical plan ahead of time.
The platform also offers a voluntary registry covering knee, hip, shoulder, ankle and other procedures. It plans to enroll about 2,250 patients, tracking them from preoperative baseline data through five years of postoperative self-reported recovery. Patients enter the data online, so hospitals do not need extra staff, and physicians can review follow-up data at any time. One doctor noted that this connects the patient experience, personalized technology and recovery outcomes, creating a closed loop for 3D-printed orthopedic care.
The technology is built on AI-driven design and vertically integrated additive manufacturing. restor3d already has multiple FDA-cleared implants for shoulder, hip, knee and ankle procedures. In February 2026, its Ossera AFX ankle fusion cage system became commercially available, offering both off-the-shelf and custom versions. The company has raised more than $104 million. As of 2024, it had worked with 740 hospitals and more than 520 surgeons across the United States, handling thousands of surgeries annually.
The industry is moving toward full-workflow integration, and companies such as Onkos Surgical and Materialise are also building out similar offerings. MyFit links planning, manufacturing and follow-up into a traceable service chain, helping medical 3D printing move from a single-point technology toward large-scale adoption.
