Bambulab Tech, with annual revenue exceeding ¥10 billion, has now entered the 3D scanner market alongside its 3D printing business!

On January 29, 2026, Scienscan, a company listed on the STAR Market, announced that it had signed a framework cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Bambu Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Bambu Tech"). The two parties will jointly design and develop consumer-grade 3D scanners, with Scienscan responsible for production and sales to Bambu Tech. As a framework agreement, the total contract value has not been specified.

On the day of the contract signing, Scienscan’s stock price surged by 15%, bringing its market capitalization to ¥9.48 billion.

Bambu Tech currently holds tens of billions in cash reserves. Leveraging its strong financial strength, highly skilled talent pool, and efficient corporate management and culture, the company continues to innovate in the 3D printer sector. There are also rumors that it may be developing consumer-grade laser engravers, CNC machines, and other products for personal creation and manufacturing, though these remain unconfirmed.

Through this collaboration with Scienscan, a professional 3D scanner manufacturer, Bambu Tech is rapidly advancing its consumer-grade 3D scanner project by building on Scienscan’s technical expertise.

"Bambu’s entry into the 3D scanner market is likely to disrupt the industry, just as it did with 3D printing," a source told Nanjixiong.

In a recent interview, Tao Ye, CEO of Bambu Tech, mentioned that "being able to achieve world-class excellence is a necessary condition for entrepreneurship." With annual revenue now exceeding ¥10 billion, Bambu Tech is no longer a small startup. The question remains: is Bambu Tech an unstoppable force? Can it achieve top position in every market it enters?
