The Advanced Design and Additive Manufacturing Research Team at Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University has guided its student project to a Provincial Second Prize at the 18th "Challenge Cup" Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition for Guangdong University Students. Their project, titled "Lattice Smart Sole—AI-Intelligent Lattice Adaptation for Customized Teenage Foot Health," stood out among numerous outstanding entries.
The project directly addresses the core challenges in current footwear for adolescents, namely the mismatch with foot morphology and inadequate support and cushioning. By deeply integrating artificial intelligence, biomechanics, and lattice structure design, the team has pioneered the development of a customized solution based on AI-driven intelligent lattice adaptation.
