The 2025 Hebei International Industrial Design Week showcases cutting-edge innovations, including 3D-printed backpacks, highlighting industrial design's potential in shaping future industries and intelligent manufacturing.

On September 20, the global design community once again turned its attention to Hebei. The 2025 Hebei International Industrial Design Week grandly commenced at the Xiong'an Green Building Exhibition Center.

This year's Design Week, under the theme "Intelligently Crafting the Future · A New Chapter for Industries," followed the "1+N" model, with the main venue set in Xiong'an New Area and three sub-venues in Shijiazhuang, Dingzhou, and Xinji.

As one of the highlights of the Design Week, the Hebei International Industrial Design Innovation Achievements Exhibition covered an area of over 8,000 square meters. It featured seven distinctive sections: the International Design Zone, Hebei Design Achievements Zone, "Xiong'an · Design · Future" Zone, Production System Design Zone, AI Design Zone, CMF Design Zone, and Experience Design Zone. The exhibition attracted 330 enterprises from countries such as Denmark, Italy, and Japan, as well as from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, showcasing 3,200 new design products. Innovative companies and design organizations including Pantone, Xiaomi, Alibaba Cloud, Lenovo, BOE, and the European Product Design Award also participated. The exhibition featured design products in fields such as artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, new-generation electronic information technology, robotics, and CMF, along with the latest achievements in the innovative upgrading of Hebei's characteristic industrial clusters and the development of Xiong'an New Area. This allowed visitors to experience the unique charm and immense potential of industrial design.

At the same time, the specially curated "Xiong'an · Design · Future" zone stood out as a highlight of the exhibition. With the theme "Ascending Step by Step, Building the Future," the zone presented a three-part narrative—"Crafting Memories," "Intelligently Building a New City," and "Digitally Opening the Future"—to showcase Xiong'an's achievements in upgrading traditional crafts, building a smart city, and planning future industries. This not only highlighted Xiong'an's city positioning as "smart, green, and innovative" but also provided design support for the construction of the "City of the Future."

Among the exhibits, the 3D-printed backpack broke the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship, with digital design at its core, perfectly integrating imaginative creativity and cutting-edge technology. It not only reshaped the form of the "bag" with its highly futuristic structural aesthetics but also redefined the possibilities of comfort and functionality through precise personalized customization, leading Chinese bag design into a new chapter of intelligent manufacturing!
