Flashforge has squeezed industrial-grade full-color jetting into a desktop machine.

The CJ270 is officially launched at 34,999 RMB (about $4,900), aimed at creative studios, design teams, and custom fabrication shops.
Full-color material jetting systems used to cost hundreds of thousands to over a million yuan, with large footprints and dedicated space requirements. The CJ270 measures 697×410×405mm and weighs 33.5kg—it runs right on an office desk, making full-color 3D printing truly "desktop" for the first time.
Technically, it follows the industrial MJP material jetting route, building 3D models layer by layer from zero—not 2.5D surface printing of patterns. Seven industrial printheads jet six resins (CMYK, white, clear) plus water-soluble support. After each layer is jetted, a leveling roller compacts and flattens it before UV curing, yielding clean edges without accumulated error. Overhangs, complex curves, and gradient colors form in a single pass, no post-painting needed.
It supports over 10 million colors, with a minimum layer thickness of 7 microns and a build volume of 180×120×100mm—enough for figurines, miniature scenes, and appearance prototypes. Water-soluble support washes away with water, white ink auto-stirs to prevent clogs, and printheads are individually replaceable for controllable maintenance costs.
It handles creative prototyping, portrait customization, product appearance validation, and educational models. At 34,999 RMB (about $4,900), it keeps full-color printing in-house, eliminating outsourcing and manual coloring—turning digital designs directly into deliverable works.
