From August 26 to 28, Formnext Asia Shenzhen opens at the new Bao'an venue.

This year’s show covers 20,000 square meters and brings together over 350 additive manufacturing companies from China and abroad. At booth D91, Polly Polymer is unveiling two major offerings: an AI‑driven foot customization system and a full‑chain robotic manufacturing solution.
Let’s start with the AI foot customization. Making its debut, the AI‑powered digital foot manufacturing system quickly scans each person’s unique foot shape and posture differences, then creates a personal digital profile that stays with the user for life. Based on that data, the system generates a highly tailored insole or shoe design—truly “one foot, one shape” for every individual. The profile can be stored long‑term and reused for different scenarios, from daily wear to sports. This approach scales high‑end customization, shifting the footwear industry from mass‑production of identical shoes to making each pair specifically for the wearer. At the booth, visitors can experience the whole process live—from data capture to receiving a customized solution.
Now for the robotic solution. To address the fast‑iteration, complex structures, and high demand for non‑standard, flexible parts in the embodied intelligence sector, Polly introduces RoboFab—a one‑stop additive manufacturing system for robotics. It covers everything from soft skins and bionic limbs to cushioned foot pads, precision housings, and anti‑interference elastic components. The platform drastically simplifies R&D and production workflows, helping companies shorten development cycles, cut prototyping costs, and improve overall product stability and fit.
Alongside the exhibition, two industry forums will take place. On August 27, Sales Director Qian Hanshi will present “Additive Manufacturing for Hardware‑Level Embodied Intelligence: 3D‑Printed Bionic Muscles.” On the same day, Footwear Application Director Lin Enjun will give a talk titled “From Batch Production to Mass Customization: The AI‑Driven Revolution in Footwear Additive Manufacturing.”
Polly Polymer has spent years deepening its expertise in ultra‑high‑speed additive manufacturing, building an integrated system that covers materials, equipment, and cloud‑based factory production. At this show, they look forward to connecting with consumer brands, robotics firms, designers, and channel partners to explore broader applications in smart wearables, embodied intelligence, and premium consumer goods. And don’t miss the lucky draw at booth D91—prizes include 3D‑printed home accessories, custom shoes, and creative souvenirs. Everyone is welcome to participate.
