Another 3D printing startup incubated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences has completed a Series A funding round raising tens of millions of yuan. The company possesses unique proprietary technology—Laser Melt Pool Reverse Correction metal 3D printing.

Fujian Guorui Zhongke Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. has completed a Series A funding round at the tens-of-millions-of-yuan level, with a company valuation reaching hundreds of millions of yuan. The raised capital will be allocated to enhancing R&D investment in its product matrix, market expansion, increasing production capacity, and team development.

Highly Innovative "Laser Melt Pool Reverse Correction Technology"

A representative from Guorui Zhongke informed Polar Bear that the company has pioneered a "Laser Melt Pool Reverse Correction Technology." This innovation enables multi-mode laser switching and adjustable laser energy distribution during the metal powder laser melting process, achieving reverse correction of the melt pool with minimal cost increase. The technology not only ensures high precision but also increases printing speed by 2 to 3 times compared to current methods (with the same number of lasers)!

During the printing process, the software's shelling function distinguishes between the outer shell and internal structures. The shell is scanned using a 100μm Gaussian laser spot, while the interior employs a 220μm reverse-corrected inverse Gaussian spot. This reverse correction melt pool technology enables the production of highly dense titanium alloy components with mechanical properties reaching forged material standards—tensile strength >1100 MPa and elongation >9% (without heat treatment). The method ensures both external precision and significantly improved printing efficiency.

Guorui Zhongke is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in additive manufacturing technology and providing metal AM solutions. Building on 17 patents transferred from the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences—including "A Laser 3D Printing Equipment" (ZL201720549824.3)—and leveraging advanced laser R&D capabilities, the company further develops metal 3D printing materials and equipment. It has undertaken multiple national and provincial key R&D projects and filed numerous independent patents for metal AM technologies. The company now possesses unique core technologies covering materials, equipment, and software across the industrial chain.

Multi-Pronged Approach: Equipment, Services, and Materials
Supported by the strong technical foundation of the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Guorui Zhongke has launched a range of 3D printing products and services.

High-Speed Selective Laser Metal 3D Printers

Polar Bear has observed that leveraging its unique "Laser Melt Pool Reverse Correction Technology," Guorui Zhongke has launched multiple industrial-grade SLM (Selective Laser Melting) additive manufacturing systems. The product line includes metal 3D printers with varying build chamber sizes—M2, M3, M4, and more—offering flexible model options to meet diverse market demands. All equipment is equipped with the company's self-developed software platform, supporting customization of multiple optical solutions to achieve optimal printing performance for different application scenarios.

The entire product series can be equipped with the company's self-developed Laser Melt Pool Reverse Correction Technology, which significantly enhances printing efficiency—achieving a 2–3 times improvement compared to conventional methods. This innovation not only accelerates production speed but also effectively increases the density of printed parts, ensuring superior mechanical properties and structural integrity in the final products.
Guorui Zhongke provides high-performance metal printing services for various industries. Utilizing self-developed printing materials, the company produces metal components with superior mechanical properties, high dimensional accuracy, smooth surfaces, and cost-effectiveness—meeting diverse customer demands for performance and quality.
