Bambu Lab Collaborates with SCRY to Bring "Printable Footwear" into Your Home

3D printing is making its way into everyday wearables. Recently, Bambu Lab has partnered with Formism under the creative brand SCRY to launch a series of 3D-printable shoe designs, allowing everyone to customize their own trendy footwear at home.
Currently, the first wave of free shoe models—the Formism Arc series—has been released on the model community platform MakerWorld, where users can directly download the files for printing. This series is part of a broader plan, serving as the initial offering within a final collection that will include nine shoe designs.
Following closely is an ongoing crowdfunding campaign on MakerWorld. Supporters can gain access to three "Persona" series shoe designs, with the corresponding printing files scheduled to be distributed uniformly after the campaign ends on February 9. The final three models of the "Foam" series are also set to debut in late January as the concluding release.
This collaboration not only introduces innovative designs but also unveils a highly anticipated new material for the first time—Silver TPU 90A. This flexible filament combines texture with performance and is expected to be officially launched by Bambu Lab in February, offering creators more diverse possibilities for realization.
From downloading and printing to design and materials, this partnership is gradually lowering the barrier to entry for personalized manufacturing. In the future, your next pair of shoes might not need to be purchased—they could simply be "printed" at home.
