Anycubic launches Kobra X, an affordable multicolor 3D printer, with a pre-sale deposit period from Dec 26 to Jan 14.
Anycubic announces the Kobra X FFF printer with integrated four-color system and launches a staggered pre-sale campaign. The deposit period runs from December 26, 2025, to January 14, 2026. For $10, the manufacturer promises a $30 discount, which will apply to both “Early Bird” and “Fantastic Weeks.”
The Early Bird phase is scheduled for January 15 to February 28, 2026. With a deposit, Anycubic lists the final price as $259, and without a deposit, $279. For March 2026 (“Fantastic Weeks”), the price is listed as $279 with a deposit and $299 without a deposit. There are also combo deals with the external ACE 2 Pro color module. According to the manufacturer, the Kobra X natively prints four colors. With ACE 2 Pro, the number increases to seven colors, as one line remains reserved for the connection. With additional modules, Anycubic lists 11 and 19 colors, respectively. The company lists the price at $449 for Kobra X plus an ACE 2 Pro, $708 for the set plus another ACE 2 Pro, and $1,148 for the set plus three additional ACE 2 Pros.
Technically, Anycubic lists a build volume of 260 × 260 × 260 mm and a maximum speed of 600 mm/s. The recommended speed is 300 mm/s. Acceleration is said to reach 20,000 mm/s². Anycubic highlights “ACE GEN 2” as a key feature, which, according to the manufacturer, reduces the length of flush sequences during color changes by 81.25 percent. In addition, the manufacturer describes adaptive compensation of the extrusion force for material changes between soft and hard, such as PLA with TPU or PVA.
For the first layer, Anycubic relies on LeviQ 3.0 with 49-point auto-leveling and a repeat accuracy of less than 0.02 mm. A hardened 0.4 mm steel nozzle is standard equipment, with 0.25, 0.6, and 0.8 mm nozzles available as options. The maximum nozzle temperature is 300 °C, the heating bed reaches 100 °C and uses a PEI spring steel plate. A 720p camera uses AI to detect “spaghetti” and foreign objects, among other things. Anycubic also specifies noise levels of up to 45 dB, dual-band Wi-Fi plus LAN, Anycubic Slicer Next, and an app.
