At this year’s Formnext Shenzhen show in China, UnionTech focused on two machines: the CUTE 800 for elastomer batch production and the upgraded metal printer MUEES430 L.

The CUTE 800 is a new large-format elastomer 3D printer. Most similar machines on the market use a pull-up architecture; the CUTE 800 instead uses a sinking inner-vat design, which is its key differentiator. It is equipped with a single 8K DLP light engine, with 100 μm pixel size, 405 nm wavelength, contrast ratio above 1100:1, 95% light intensity uniformity, and 32 W peak power. Its Z-axis positioning accuracy is 0.008 mm, and its build rate is 60–80 mm/h. In five hours, it can print 24 standard shoes—12 pairs—positioning it for batch production. After connecting to the Unionfab cloud platform and MES, it can automatically dispatch tasks, remotely monitor equipment status, calculate output in real time, and provide full print traceability. Optional automatic part removal and smart resin refilling enable one-click unmanned production, saving 2–3 operators per machine and increasing overnight and weekend capacity by more than 60%. The machine weighs 1,650 kg, has temperature control of ±3°C, operates at 25–35°C, uses dual-zone heating for the resin vat and doctor blade, and features high-sensitivity sensor closed-loop feedback.
On the metal side, the MUEES430 L has four lasers, a build envelope of 430 × 340 mm, and a height of 380 mm. It focuses on production-grade applications: printed parts can be used directly as end-use products, with mechanical performance, mechanical properties, and density meeting hardware component requirements—not just for prototypes. It works with UnionTech’s self-developed integrated powder vacuuming, sieving, and conveying unit, which supports one-to-two and one-to-four configurations. This reduces human contact with powder, making operations safer and more convenient. The booth also showcased shoe molds, internal flow channels for liquid-cooling plates, and custom-shaped structural parts. The system supports 316L, AlSi10Mg, 6061, nickel alloys, and superalloys, along with the self-developed Al901X high-strength aluminum.
UnionTech’s two product paths are clear: in photopolymer printing, it is moving from prototypes to elastomer batch production; in metal 3D printing, it is upgrading from selling machines to an integrated “equipment + automation + materials” solution.
