3D Printing for All: Creality Joins Hands with Tencent Hunyuan AI Model to Democratize Creation

Creality partnered with Tencent Cloud to integrate AI into 3D printing, simplifying model creation for everyday users.

On September 16, 2025, at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Tencent officially launched the "AI Application Prosperity Initiative," introducing two key actions—"AI Co-Creation Camp" and "AI Hundred Schools Tour"—to advance the opening of AI technologies, talent development, and industrial implementation. As a core partner of the Tencent Cloud AI Co-Creation Camp, Tang Jingke, Co-founder and Executive Director of Creality, attended the launch ceremony and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent Cloud based on the Hunyuan large model, aiming to jointly drive the deep integration of AI and 3D printing.

This collaboration goes beyond mere technical integration. It aims to leverage Tencent Hunyuan's multimodal understanding and generation capabilities alongside Creality's expertise in hardware manufacturing, platform ecosystem, and end-user reach to address long-standing industry pain points such as high modeling barriers and complex workflows in 3D printing.

As the first tangible outcome of this partnership, Creality Cloud has launched an AI-powered modeling tool—"CubeMe: Mini-Me"—integrated with the Hunyuan large model. Designed for non-professional users, the tool allows them to upload photos, select styles (e.g., "Sitting Cute Baby," "Clay," "Mini Trendy Toy"), and automatically generate 2D concept art converted into 3D models. Users can further refine the model effects through text prompts, truly achieving "what you imagine is what you get."

Creality Cloud—as an all-in-one 3D printing platform—has established a full-process service loop encompassing "resources, tools, and community," supporting everything from device connectivity, AI modeling, cloud slicing, and remote printing to community sharing. This AI upgrade further strengthens its platform vision of "lowering the barriers to 3D printing."

Looking ahead, the two parties will continue to deepen the integration of multimodal large models across the entire 3D printing workflow, develop more scenario-specific AI tools, and explore end-to-end intelligent solutions from ideation to physical delivery. Creality also emphasized its commitment to open collaboration, partnering with more ecosystem players to collectively drive the evolution of 3D printing from "professional manufacturing" to "mass co-creation."

AI is reshaping the boundaries of 3D printing applications. The collaboration between Tencent and Creality is not just a technical alliance—it signals the industry’s entry into a new "AI-native" era, where modeling no longer depends on professional software, and creativity is no longer limited by technical barriers.
