EINSTAR launches the Rockit, a cable-free handheld 3D scanner with a built-in power system for wireless data capture.

EINSTAR proudly launches the new-generation lightweight wireless scanner—the EINSTAR Rockit Wireless Pocket Handheld 3D Scanner. Equipped with a lightweight wireless hotspot module and an embedded long-endurance power system, this device completely eliminates cable constraints, enabling intelligent wireless data acquisition and free transmission.
Seamless Integration with EXStar Hub

Paired with the self-developed intelligent software platform, EXStar Hub, it significantly enhances workflow efficiency across the entire process, unleashing ultimate scanning power right in the palm of your hand. Whether for AR/VR digital creators, cultural product designers, or students and teachers, everyone can enjoy an efficient scanning experience anytime, anywhere.

Core Highlights of the EINSTAR Rockit

Wireless Agility, Rapid Scanning
The EINSTAR Rockit features a built-in wireless hotspot and battery module, enabling wireless connection to computers without the need for an external power source. This completely eliminates cable constraints, offering significant advantages in tight spaces or outdoor scenarios where charging is inconvenient. It comes standard with two 5500mAh batteries, providing up to three hours of runtime, eliminating power anxiety.

Equipped with a total of 45 laser lines (38+7) paired with intelligent algorithms, the scanning speed can reach up to 90 frames per second. Real-time tracking is smooth and stable, efficiently outputting high-quality 3D data.

Dual Light Sources, Boundless Scenarios
The EINSTAR Rockit features both blue laser and infrared VCSEL light sources, creating three scanning modes to adapt to different scenario needs:

The 38-cross-line blue laser projector emits wide blue laser lines, enabling rapid acquisition of high-quality 3D data for large objects, with scanning speeds up to 90 fps.

The 7-parallel-line blue laser, with a minimum point distance of 0.05mm, can delicately reproduce fine geometric features on object surfaces.

Infrared speckle large-area scanning without markers, with a maximum field of view up to 1170 mm × 1385 mm, is suitable for efficient modeling of medium to large-sized objects.

It also incorporates intelligent alignment algorithms. Both in blue laser and infrared VCSEL modes, it supports markerless scanning for feature-rich objects. In infrared mode, it additionally leverages the rich color information on the object's surface to assist alignment, allowing easy scan initiation and smoother alignment for simple operation, making it quick to master even for beginners.
Easy to Use, Wide Application
The EINSTAR Rockit is equipped with a 5-megapixel texture camera that excellently reproduces object surface textures and colors, generating high-fidelity color 3D models. It is perfectly suited for diverse fields such as AR/VR, digital art creation, and customized design, offering a wide range of application scenarios.

Furthermore, the EINSTAR Rockit's wireless portability advantage, combined with its intelligent and user-friendly software, means it can be operated with minimal learning curve, significantly lowering the barrier to use and greatly enhancing its suitability for education. When integrated with 3D printing technology, it effectively empowers the construction of digital training labs in schools. Relying on the full-process closed loop of "3D Scanning - 3D Design - 3D Printing," it helps students systematically strengthen their innovative practical skills and comprehensive literacy in digital manufacturing.
Product Line Expansion & Company Vision

In addition to the EINSTAR Rockit, Shining 3D has simultaneously launched another wireless handheld 3D scanner – the EINSTAR 2. The introduction of these two products enriches the EINSTAR product portfolio, further fulfilling the mission to "Make 3D Scanning Smarter, Faster, and More Accessible."

Currently, as the digital wave continues to permeate various industries, Shining 3D remains committed to lowering the barrier to using 3D technology through innovation, allowing more users to benefit from efficient and precise 3D digitization services. The launch of the EINSTAR Rockit and EINSTAR 2 not only further refines Shining 3D's product layout in the wireless handheld scanning field but also demonstrates the company's firm resolve to continuously respond to diverse market needs and promote inclusive industry development.

Looking ahead, Shining 3D will continue to deepen its expertise in 3D digitization technology, closely collaborating with ecosystem partners to jointly promote the application of 3D scanning technology in more fields such as education, creativity, and manufacturing, empowering every innovator to embrace the digital future.
