Company posts strongest-ever results across printers, materials, and dental segments, with Fuse SLS systems up 25% year over year

Formlabs closed 2025 with its highest-ever quarterly performance, achieving record sales across multiple product categories in Q4. According to CRO Nick Graham, sales of its Fuse SLS printers grew by more than 25% year over year, marking one of the company’s most significant gains. The Fuse line has seen increasing adoption in factory environments, where customers are using printed parts to replace traditionally manufactured tooling and, more recently, to produce end-use components.
“More and more customers are using Fuse printed parts to replace traditionally manufactured tooling in their factories. Customers are increasingly turning to Fuse for end-use parts. This shift into more critical applications is the next big wave. And we’re loving it,” Graham said in a post on LinkedIn.
Last September, Formlabs reported that its Fuse series of selective laser sintering 3D printers accounted for 55% of all SLS printers sold worldwide. The company’s achievement has been further amplified by a record-breaking performance in August, when the North American sales team surpassed all previous monthly sales records for SLS printers.
The Fuse series systems have become a benchmark in the industry, offering high value at a low cost for customers across a wide spectrum of applications. The adoption of SLS is accelerating, particularly in high-volume tooling and the production of end-use parts, with industries ranging from start-ups to defense contractors incorporating the Fuse into their workflows. Specific use cases, including drones and contract manufacturing, are also driving the growth of large Fuse fleets. Importantly, usage per printer is steadily climbing, signaling that customers are finding sustained and expanding utility in the systems long after their initial purchase.
More generally, the company reported all-time highs in total revenue, printer shipments, and materials sales. The company also recorded peak sales in large-format SLA systems and in its dental portfolio, reflecting broader industrial and healthcare uptake of additive manufacturing technologies. Resin and powder consumption per installed printer reached new highs, signaling increased utilization among existing customers.
The company credited its employees and global partners for contributing to the record results, highlighting their role in expanding customer education and promoting additive manufacturing for production applications.
