Italy-based CRP is providing 3D printed racing components to the University of Modena's racing team, supporting its participation in the Formula SAE competition in the United States.

CRP Meccanica and CRP Technology are jointly supporting the Formula Student team MoRe Modena Racing. The team will compete in the Formula SAE event held at Michigan International Speedway from May 13 to 16.
CRP Technology uses selective laser sintering (SLS) technology and Windform series fiber-reinforced materials to print functional components such as front wing endplate covers, turning vanes, connectors, and shift paddles, achieving a balance of light weight, strength, and batch production capability. Materials include carbon-fiber-reinforced Windform SL, flexible Windform TPU, and glass-fiber-reinforced Windform LX 3.0, among others.
CRP Meccanica provides precision CNC machining, including Scalmalloy aluminum alloy components, gearbox parts, carbon fiber rims, and suspension uprights machined from aerospace-grade Ergal 7075 aluminum alloy.
The CEO of CRP stated that this is not only about providing excellent parts to the team, but also about sharing knowledge with the engineers of the future. The team captain thanked CRP for its support over the years, noting that it is the help of such companies that makes their racing dreams come true.
