Tekna has received titanium powder orders totalling CAD 1.64 million from an established distributor serving medical-device manufacturers, the company announced on October 20. Deliveries are expected throughout 2027.

The orders cover Ti64 titanium alloy powder in a particle-size range intended for laser powder bed fusion. Tekna did not identify the distributor, disclose the powder quantity or name the downstream devices.

The company will record the orders in its fourth-quarter 2026 order intake. Booked orders are distinct from completed deliveries and recognised revenue.

Tekna also noted the renewal of its Materials business area's ISO 13485:2016 quality-management certification. That statement does not establish regulatory approval for any particular implant made from the ordered powder.

The company said its third-quarter interim report is scheduled for November 5.
