The company will debut SLA 825 Dual, a next-generation large-frame printer; ArrayCast, a digital solution for investment casting; and two new materials, Accura SbF and Accura Xtreme Black
3D Systems, a developer of 3D printing technology, has expanded its stereolithography (SLA) portfolio with several new products debuting at Formnext 2025, reinforcing its position as a leader in high-performance additive manufacturing. The company introduced the SLA 825 Dual, a next-generation large-frame printer; ArrayCast, a digital solution for investment casting; and two new materials, Accura SbF and Accura Xtreme Black, to enhance casting and prototyping workflows. Together, these innovations aim to boost productivity, eliminate tooling costs, and accelerate industrial innovation across automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors.
SLA 825 Dual
The SLA 825 Dual is 3D Systems’ most advanced large-format SLA printer to date, featuring a dual-laser architecture, simplified workflow, and a 20% larger build volume (830 x 830 x 550 mm). Designed for transportation, motorsports, aerospace, and service bureaus, it delivers superior surface finish, accuracy, and reliability. The system is also upgradeable for future technology enhancements, ensuring long-term scalability. Orders are open now, with shipments beginning in December 2025.
ArrayCast
Building on its QuickCast legacy, 3D Systems unveiled ArrayCast, a new software tool that automates the creation of casting trees complete with customizable runners, sprues, and end effectors. By digitally assembling trees before printing, production cycles are up to 10x faster and manual labor is reduced by up to 20x, eliminating hand-gluing and wax welding. Integrated into 3D Sprint software, ArrayCast ensures consistency and repeatability for foundries seeking to modernize workflows and reduce costs.
Accura SbF
The new Accura SbF resin enhances investment casting for high-performance metals such as titanium and nickel-based superalloys. The material contains no detectable antimony, ensuring clean burnout and minimal residual ash. Its high rigidity, fast-draining properties, and dimensional stability make it ideal for producing lightweight, accurate QuickCast patterns compatible with the SLA 825 Dual platform. Accura SbF is available immediately.
Accura Xtreme Black
Engineered for form, fit, and function applications, Accura Xtreme Black combines toughness, temperature resistance, and fine detail – ideal for snap-fit assemblies, rugged enclosures, and consumer electronics. Its deep black color replicates injection-molded aesthetics while providing a cost-effective alternative to CNC machining thermoplastics like ABS. It is also available now.
“These next-generation additions to our stereolithography portfolio will help catalyze our customers’ innovation,” said Marty Johnson, vice president of product and technical fellow at 3D Systems. “With nearly four decades of leadership in SLA, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with additive manufacturing.”
